Great. Just how I wanted to spend the day with a bunch of drunk rodents. Just give me the bottle and I'll read your dumb notes.

I said I'd do it, didn't I? Kidnapped me for a *BEEP*ing reason. Apparently there's a bunch of kids in the woods. Explains some things around town. Connor and Cutter had some kid break in to try making them breakfast. Doesn't look like they did a good job of it. Vi and Steph had their morning interrupted by more kids showing up with mystery food. I sure as hell didn't get any food when my kid from some alternate universe showed up. Mostly just got shot and stabbed a lot. Belle and Graham had ice cream. And I'm gonna guess a kid showed up. A kid showed up. They also talked about royalty and messed up food flavors. There was some other kid that was a dark void with Jon and that just sounds like some shit the X-Men would have. Before that, I guess, Jon met the void kid and called up John to talk about it because it was theirs. Yeah, that shit's not confusing at all. Steven and Watts apparently woke up to giggling and found their kids hiding in that boarding house of theirs. Also in that place, Cal and Arden ended up getting interrupted by two kids. I swear to god, if there's a *BEEP*ing kid out there, waiting to ambush me at my apartment, I'm leaving.

Yeah, yeah. That's all the notes I've got. I'm going to drink and avoid the hell out of whatever is going on out there.

Belle and Graham had arranged a little ice cream date (meetup? get-together?) for this afternoon. It just seemed like a wonderful idea for the day but ice cream was nearly always a wonderful idea.

They hadn't noticed any influx of children on their way here but then the dorms were a generally quiet place and it was entirely possible they'd had other things on their minds.

Like ice cream. What else? Tsk.

Once they'd settled at a table, having ordered sundaes rather too large for either of their frames (but that had never stopped them before), Belle grinned across the table at her companion.

"I didn't know they had jellybeans as a topping." She'd chosen peanut butter and hot fudge and some of those tiny chocolate eggs on top of her own. "Perhaps they heard you were coming, Sir Knight."

Or maybe Easter was tomorrow. One of those.

The notes. The news. The gossip from the ball--'Spring Fling,' I mean.

There was an unfortunate incident involving Leroy celebrating too hard, and that is all they will tell me. Well. Let's get on with what few notes survived the...shall we say 'incident?' We can begin with the school,as I've a few notes from there. Mr Raiden's Potatoes! class made 'latkes,' which are a type of pancake made of potato. Sounds delicious! And Cupcake Wars watched a film of some kind.

If there were any notes from the dormitory, they've not survived. The porg is desolate. Likewise our missives from the town, except a few brave survivors from the Spring Fling. Amongst the arrivals were Miss Belle, Miss Finch and *sigh* Mr. Kestis, and myself. There were refreshments as well as a dance floor, though all information on who partook has been lost. Doesn't Leroy know who dances which set with whom is the most interesting thing to happen at most balls? Really. And finally, amongst the chaperones were Miss Beniko and Mr. Sims.

And that's it for this morning! I remain Miss Lydia Bennet, Leroy remains in 'time out,' and--

You know that thing that happens when you put in an Instacart order for 4 bananas and the ~~man~~ person doing your shopping gets you 4 bunches of bananas instead? Zoe was certain she'd ordered 10 bouquets of flowers for decorations, and yet some ~~man~~ person had sent 10 boxes of flowers with 10 bouquets each instead, so now the dance theme was just flowers, flowers everywhere, please take some flowers as you leave if your allergies can handle it. This was what she got for testing shipping through Portalocity, clearly.

At least the food order had been normal, and the drinks were untainted, so it was time for a dance!

Well, then! Good morning, everyone! If you weren't awake yet, I bet you sure are now! As I was saying, welcome to the Friday morning radio! I'm your Friday morning non-feathered host with the most, Sir Graham of Daventry, feeling pretty good and happy to be back to myself and back behind the mic! So it seems there's a lot to celebrate this morning! Thanks to *loud noisemaker interruption* and the squirrels for taking care of it last week, I was unexpectedly a bit indisposed as things went a bit a-fowl at the library! But I'm back, and the only feather left is the one in my cap, so let's get these notes and let's get into it!

Starting, as always, with the School, where Let's Play Some Sports went rock climbing, Relaxing for Dummies engaged in the time-honored tradition of the pillow fight, and Health Education had a recap on sex education.

We have no note for the Dorms, except for the note telling me there are no notes for the Dorms, but over in the Town, we have Steph at the Maaaaaaagpie Empooooor~rium working on some orders for some great new stuff for the store, so if you get a chance to check 'em out sometime, you definitely should! Just probably just not right away, obviously, because we'll need to wait for them to arrive! Speaking of arriving, Captain Flint did just that at the Ink Spot, though whether or not that was to work or just unlock the door is anyone's guess! Liz over at the Photo Hut, meanwhile, arrived there with her mind on getting her paperwork done quick and early!

--roy. Anyway, our much more polite and considerate Squirrel on the Street followed the Supper Club out to...awww, zounds! I always miss the best ones! They went to a cat cafe! It inspired Rey and Miss Bennet to discuss whether or not they were feline up to the task of owning a cat, or whether or not it would just end up a cat-astrophe, be-claws Rey's not around much to give one proper care or attention. Captain Flint was a bit astonished that the the cat part wasn't just a joke, and Logan was disappointed it wasn't a bar, much to Miss Bennet's confusion, and Rey tried to convince him that cats were better than bars, anyway. And now, excuse me a moment for a dramatic....paws......

....before then concluding that they had their supper with their wonderful whiskered hosts!

There were no cats at the Devil's Nest, as far as I can tell from these notes, but there was some sort of argument about someone named Chris?

There were -- so far anyway -- no emergency repairs to be done in the store this week, for which Steph was extremely grateful; she had orders to make, and the gremlins practicing their zombie noises again was as much unsettling noise as she was willing to deal with in here.

Though speaking of unsettling, she was currently wrestling with the question of how many Mr. Potato Head beholder minis to order.

She decided the sacks of russet potatoes slowly multiplying in the corner near her office door were in no way a suggestion about that, because no.

Ooooh, there's an idea for dinner though.

I'd ask why Leroy is pickling himself in a bucket of rum, but I don't actually care.

Up at the School, Introduction to Palaeontology went fossil hunting, 2 Baking 2 American went festive, and Bettering Your Community went littering. Arden was on her phone in the Library and got a visit from "pizza!".

The Dorms continued the trend of being quiet, while in Town, Summer was not a squirrel at Caritas. Ah. Rey came by to talk insurance fraud, Summer did more texting, and judging by the general incoherence of these notes, Stark was also there.
